Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures
- Schedule appointments efficiently using Epic EMR system
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidential files
- Coordinate with clinical staff for patient flow optimization
- Handle multi-line phone system with professionalism
- Process billing and coding tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year medical reception experience
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- CA Medical Assistant certification (CMA) a plus
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
