Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/check-out processes efficiently
- Schedule and confirm appointments across multiple specialties
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays accurately
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Coordinate with clinical teams for smooth patient flow
- Handle confidential patient information with HIPAA compliance
- Process billing and coding documentation
- Manage office inventory and supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (AA degree preferred)
- 1+ years medical office experience required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or CPC certification a plus
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, NextGen preferred)
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Ability to start within 48 hours of offer
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance protocols
