Responsibilities
- Assess incoming patient calls to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Triage patients efficiently based on medical acuity and established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status changes
- Support emergency response during critical situations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada
- Minimum 2 years emergency/trauma nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficient in EHR systems (EPIC preferred)
- Exceptional triage and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
