Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/out procedures with efficiency and empathy
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Verify insurance eligibility and handle billing inquiries
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Handle confidential patient information with HIPAA compliance
- Assist with medical supply inventory and office tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year medical receptionist or front desk experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and MS Office
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification preferred
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingualism a plus)
