Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/out procedures with efficiency and empathy
- Schedule and confirm appointments using Epic EHR system
- Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidential documentation
- Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow
- Process payments and manage daily cash reconciliation
- Support administrative tasks including phone triage and message routing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years of medical reception or healthcare administrative experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience strongly preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
