Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates as directed by nursing staff.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Assistance: Provide mobility assistance and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities and changes in condition in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; candidates with a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Experience: No prior experience required – we provide full training for the right candidates.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks required in patient care.
- Attitude: Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- License: Current CNA license or willingness to obtain one through our sponsorship program.
