Responsibilities
- Assess Patient Needs: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and monitor patient vitals to ensure the highest standard of care.
- Implement Care Plans: Execute nursing care plans under the supervision of experienced charge nurses, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain precise and timely medical records, including incident reports and patient progress notes.
- Collaboration: Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate’s (ADN) or Bachelor’s (BSN) degree.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee required.
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for Healthcare Providers required at hire.
- Exam Status: Must be a New Graduate or have less than 12 months of RN experience.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
