Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop patient care plans.
- Document patient care services accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond to patient emergencies and critical situations with composure.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Compassionate attitude and a commitment to patient safety.
