Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical departments
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to critical changes using evidence-based protocols
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and electronic health record systems
- Provide patient/family education on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety compliance audits
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license with no disciplinary actions
- BSN degree or associate degree with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certification (PALS preferred for pediatric units)
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC/Cerner)
- Excellent critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Valid IL driver's license and reliable transportation for facility rotations
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- Experience with telehealth monitoring systems a plus
