Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor patient health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and treatment plans accurately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond to emergency situations and critical care events promptly and effectively.
- Teach patients and families about post-discharge care instructions and disease management.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at time of hire.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive and professional attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a variety of clinical settings.
