Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and following hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any significant changes or adverse reactions to the healthcare team immediately.
- Document patient care services, including symptoms, reactions, and outcomes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment under pressure.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
