The Role:
As a New Grad RN, you will work closely with experienced nursing staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will be the advocate for our patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care and monitor patient conditions effectively.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient data accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate patient status changes and needs to the interdisciplinary care team and patient families.
- Participate in the admission, transfer, and discharge processes to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred, Associate's degree accepted for entry-level).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (may be obtained during orientation).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as necessary.
- Passion for patient advocacy and a commitment to the highest standards of care.
