Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
