Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring and hygiene assistance.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based educational activities.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Arizona.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree) within the last 12 months.
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to apply critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire.
