Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility under the supervision of charge nurses.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient status and changes to physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Medication Support: Prepare and administer medications as directed by licensed providers, ensuring proper checks and balances.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to hospital hygiene protocols and safety standards.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to patient calls and assist in emergency situations as trained.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ASN or BSN).
- Licensure: Valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
- Exam: Must have passed the NCLEX licensing exam.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and families.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency and comfort with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift patients (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical tasks as required by the role.
- Attitude: Compassionate, empathetic, and eager to learn in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
