Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to residents including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls
- Document observations accurately in residents' medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe resident environment
Qualifications
- Active Washington State CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or geriatric setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate demeanor and commitment to resident dignity
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
