Responsibilities
- Delight residents with personalized care assistance including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and toileting
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and behavioral changes with precision
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders under RN supervision
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Collaborate seamlessly with night nursing team to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain sterile environments through strict adherence to infection control protocols
- Create uplifting resident interactions during overnight hours to enhance quality of life
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Compassionate demeanor with strong emotional intelligence
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening required
