As a night shift CNA, you'll be the backbone of our overnight care team, providing compassionate assistance while our residents rest comfortably. Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor residents overnight, documenting vital signs and reporting any changes to nursing staff
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision per facility protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and care documentation
- Respond promptly to resident call bells and nighttime care needs
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Safely operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts and monitoring devices
Qualifications
- Current Arizona CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or geriatric setting
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Excellent communication abilities for overnight reporting
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
