Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance, during night hours.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse or RN immediately.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in accordance with facility standards.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Engage with patients emotionally and socially to promote mental well-being and reduce anxiety.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required, valid in the state of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
