Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to residents overnight
- Monitor vital signs and document resident status accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and restorative care programs
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
- Administer medications as per facility protocols and state regulations
- Maintain clean, organized resident rooms and common areas
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active New Mexico CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or overnight experience preferred
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
