Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs and resident conditions
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency situations
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
- Collaborate with nursing team on care plans
- Complete accurate documentation per facility standards
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication abilities
- Availability to work flexible nights including weekends
