Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient status accurately in EMR systems
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and infection-free environment
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support patients with cognitive impairments using specialized techniques
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Passionate about geriatric and post-operative care
