Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to residents during overnight hours
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning using proper techniques
- Document care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to resident calls and ensure safety throughout the night
- Collaborate with nursing team on care plans and resident needs
- Maintain a quiet, comfortable environment conducive to rest
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening
