Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, fluid intake/output, and patient conditions
- Assist with mobility transfers, repositioning, and fall prevention protocols
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs on care plans and medication administration
- Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and treatment areas
- Respond promptly to call lights and emergency situations
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Valid BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am) with rotating weekends
- Passionate about geriatric care and patient advocacy
