Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, nutritional intake, and behavioral changes
- Administer medications under RN supervision
- Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Collaborate with healthcare team during shift transitions
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
