Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain accurate patient records
- Safely transport patients using proper equipment and protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Maintain a clean, organized patient environment and infection control standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care continuity
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
