Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and health status throughout the night shift.
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Provide high-quality personal care and comfort to residents in a professional setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with the night shift nursing team regarding patient changes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
- Document all care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current California CNA license and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently during the night shift.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts.
