Responsibilities
- Delight residents with personalized assistance in daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document health status with meticulous attention to detail
- Assist with mobility transfers and position changes to ensure resident comfort
- Administer medications accurately under RN supervision
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency situations
- Maintain clean, organized resident spaces and common areas
- Collaborate seamlessly with overnight nursing staff for coordinated care
Qualifications
- Active Virginia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience preferred
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication skills for resident/family interactions
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail in documentation and care protocols
