Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and document vital signs, health status, and resident preferences
- Assist with mobility transfers and safe movement throughout the facility
- Administer medications as per facility protocols and state regulations
- Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency situations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or acute care experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Valid Florida driver's license (if required for transportation duties)
