Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, positioning, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and intake/output
- Assist with patient transportation and equipment operation
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians during shift transitions
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Support emotional and psychological well-being of night-shift patients
- Administer prescribed treatments under RN supervision
- Participate in emergency response and crisis management
Qualifications
- Active Arizona CNA certification
- Minimum 1-year hospital experience required
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Electronic medical record proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility for rotating weekend shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
