Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Maintain electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Schedule appointments and manage patient correspondence
- Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked and sanitized
- Coordinate patient education materials and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Active Colorado MA certification (CMA/RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification (must maintain)
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Ability to thrive in high-volume urgent care settings
