Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Administer medications and immunizations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Prepare exam rooms and medical supplies
- Coordinate patient flow and triage
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant diploma or associate's degree
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Michigan Medical Assistant certification (MMAC)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Strong phlebotomy skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
