As a Night Shift Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive quality care during evening hours. We value our team members and are committed to providing a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient intakes, vitals checks, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist physicians and providers with clinical procedures and minor surgeries.
- Administer injections, medications, and vaccinations as directed by providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and medical charts.
- Coordinate patient flow and manage front desk duties during the night shift.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff regarding test results and care plans.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment.
