Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Perform vital signs monitoring and EKG procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Assist with patient triage during emergency situations
- Coordinate with night-shift nursing staff for seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year hospital experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
