Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and vital sign monitoring
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health documentation
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care
- Coordinate patient flow and triage during night hours
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA protocols
- Collaborate with night shift nurses and emergency staff
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in urgent care or hospital setting
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong attention to detail and emergency response skills
- Flexibility to cover rotating night schedules
