Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and vaccinations per protocols
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and basic lab tests
- Maintain accurate patient records in EHR systems
- Sterilize equipment and prepare exam rooms
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate with night shift nursing staff
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or RMA required
- 1+ years clinical experience preferred
- New York State medical assistant license
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR systems
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Commitment to patient confidentiality standards
