Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs monitoring (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) on incoming patients.
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures during the night shift.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure sterilization protocols are followed.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and charts.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse or physician.
- Communicate effectively with patients and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
