Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Perform patient intake, accurate vital sign monitoring, and comprehensive health histories.
- Procedures: Administer medications, injections, and assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations.
- Administrative Support: Manage front desk duties, including scheduling appointments, processing insurance, and maintaining patient records.
- Night Shift Operations: Ensure the facility remains secure and operational during overnight hours; respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
- Documentation: Document patient interactions and clinical findings accurately and efficiently in the EMR system.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, sanitary clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with night shift experience.
- Licensure: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EMR) software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
