Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and medical history collection accurately.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccines under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during examinations and minor procedures.
- Manage patient flow, triage incoming calls, and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR).
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Perform phlebotomy and EKG procedures as required by patient needs.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent degree required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Previous experience in a hospital or urgent care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient comfort.
- Ability to work independently and effectively during the night shift.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (EMR).
