Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, patient intake, and prepare patients for examination.
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer medications as directed by providers and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with the nursing and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Answer patient inquiries and provide appropriate health education.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a night shift role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Valid driver's license (optional but preferred for facility transport).
