Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and administer medications during overnight shifts
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations promptly
- Document patient assessments and treatment plans accurately in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety committees
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Illinois
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs during night shifts
