Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and medication administration during overnight shifts
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions using advanced clinical judgment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Respond to emergency situations with swift, evidence-based interventions
- Precept and mentor new nursing staff to ensure quality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license with BLS certification
- Minimum 1-year acute care nursing experience
- ACLS certification preferred (required for critical care units)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing conditions
