Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in ER/ICU units during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment
- Mentor new nursing staff during night rotations
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO standards
Qualifications
- Active FL RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
