Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with rapid intervention protocols
- Document patient records with precision and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Coordinate care plans with day shift teams and provide handoff reports
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems for real-time documentation
- Mentor new nursing staff and uphold facility-wide safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (night shift preferred)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (EPIC experience highly valued)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
