Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Med/Surg unit during overnight shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Mentor new staff and uphold quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota RN license (or compact license)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced overnight environment
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
