Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care: Assess patient needs, administer medications, and implement treatment plans as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vitals: Conduct thorough rounds and continuously monitor patients for changes in condition, documenting all observations accurately.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other staff to ensure holistic patient care.
- Emergency response: Quickly respond to medical emergencies and critical incidents with composure and clinical expertise.
- Administer treatments: Perform wound care, injections, and other procedural tasks with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain precise, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, preferably in a hospital or critical care setting.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM).
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
