Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and positioning using proper techniques
- Document patient care accurately and maintain confidential records
- Support patient independence while maintaining dignity and respect
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality care delivery
- Prepare patients for meals and assist with nutritional needs
Qualifications
- No prior healthcare experience required (training provided)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid Tennessee Driver's License (if transporting patients)
- Must obtain CNA certification within 90 days of hire
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
