As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support to seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes. If you are eager to start a career in healthcare but lack formal experience, our comprehensive paid training program is designed to get you certified and working in no time.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and social activities.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping tasks.
- Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with safety protocols.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to complete state-mandated paid training program.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required (training provided).
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
