Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise to ensure patient safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with medication reminders (as directed).
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Document daily activities and care provided accurately in care plans.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Completion of a state-approved CNA or Home Health Aide program is a plus but not required if training is provided.
