Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments prior to patient appointments.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and proper positioning.
- Take and develop dental x-rays (radiographs) as directed by the dentist.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and handle insurance verification.
- Greet patients warmly and collect co-pays or payment information efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education to patients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Basic computer literacy and attention to detail.
- Must be willing to complete the provided paid training program with a positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
